4 cups chicken stock, home -made
3/4 cup onion, chopped
3/4 cup celery, chopped
1 tbsp garlic, minced
1 pack whole wheat noodles, cooked to al dente
2 tsp fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped
Lemon halves, for serving
1. Bring stock to boil for 2 minutes in a large pot with lid on, over high heat.
2. Add onion, celery, and garlic. Lower heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Add noodles and cook 5 more minutes.
3. Remove from heat. Add herbs, salt and pepper to taste. Serve with lemon halves and add squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
